The very spectacular "Hydrogen Economy", mainly promoted by the US government, is not going to be ready for any general implementation until around year 2030. This time frame have a general consencus among the scientists and major parts of the Automotive Industry. The peak production and "depletion of oil reserves", will make it necessary to have access to alternative fuels long before 2030.
